Who is MyFaith for?

MyFaith is designed for anyone seeking thoughtful conversation, spiritual support, or connection through faith and community - whether they are deeply rooted in their beliefs, returning to faith, or simply exploring questions for the first time. We are currently partnering closely with churches and Christian communities as we build the platform, with a focus on creating trusted, respectful spaces for meaningful conversation and care.

Do I need to belong to a church to use MyFaith?

No. You can use MyFaith whether you’re part of a church, exploring faith, or simply looking for someone to talk to. To access local community features - such as events, updates, and notices - you’ll need to join a faith community within the platform. You can still reach a verified faith leader elsewhere without doing so.

What kind of support can I get?

You can speak to a faith leader about a range of things, including guidance during difficult moments, prayer, questions about faith, or simply having someone to talk to. The platform is designed for real, person-to-person conversation.

Is this the same as therapy or counselling?

No. MyFaith connects you with faith leaders for pastoral support and conversation. While this can be helpful and meaningful, it is not a replacement for professional medical or mental health care.

Who are the faith leaders on the platform?

MyFaith partners with verified faith leaders connected to established churches, ministries, and communities. Users can explore each leader’s background, areas of experience, and church context before choosing who to connect with.

Can I speak to someone outside my local area?

Yes. While MyFaith is designed to support local connection, it also allows you to reach a verified faith leader elsewhere if that feels more appropriate or accessible. This can be especially helpful if you’re new to an area, don’t yet have a local community, or would prefer to speak to someone with a particular background, language, or area of experience.

Do I have to commit to anything?

No. You can use MyFaith as and when you need it, whether that’s for a one-off conversation or more ongoing support. There’s no obligation to continue to use the platform or to join a particular community - you’re free to engage in a way that feels right for you.

Is it private and secure?

Yes. Conversations on MyFaith are designed to be secure and respectful. Your privacy is important, and you can choose how and when you engage.

How much does it cost?

We’re still shaping the model, but our aim is to keep the platform as simple and accessible as possible.
